Privacy notice regarding data processing in connection with our Facebook page 

Which of your data is being processed? For which purposes?

Under the control of target Software Solution GmbH:

We, target Software Solution GmbH, maintain a page on Facebook to give information about us, our products and services, as well as making information available to persons who are interested in becoming our new colleagues (m/f/d). Your visit to this page implies data processing operations the legality of which is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the interest in providing information to the general public about our work, finding new customers and business partners and to recruit new personnel (m/f/d).

In case a user of our page contacts us through Facebook, we will use the data transmitted thereby only for the purpose of answering the request / question. In this case, your initiation of contact is considered consent to this data processing according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You are free to withdraw this consent. In case of such a withdrawal, we will delete the data we hold in connection to your request, just as we will in case a request has been conclusively answered, as long as there are no countervailing legal obligations to retain this data. Such legal obligations exist in connection to any communication potentially leading to the conclusion of a contract with target Software Solution GmbH. 

Should we use our Facebook page for further purposes, we will inform you accordingly in due time.

Under the control of Facebook:

Facebook processes the data of its users in connection with the use of its platform. In this regard Facebook is the sole data controller. For information regarding this processing, please consult the information provided by Facebook.

Under joint control:

Some data processing operations are initiated by your visit to our side and are under joint control of Facebook and us. These data processing operations are intended to provide us with information about the visitors to our page (Facebook Page Insights). For these processing operations we are jointly responsible with Facebook. You can find more Information about this data processing here. 

We will only ever use your data for purposes other than described above when the conditions described in Art. 6 (4) GDPR are met. In this case we will make sure to fulfil our obligation to inform you about this processing according to Art. 13 or Art. 14 GDPR.

Is your data being transmitted to third parties?

Your data will only be transferred to further recipients if this is necessary to answer your inquiry or to fulfil any subsequent contractual obligations. Such recipients may include sub-contractors for services such as accounting. These contractors will only use your data on our instructions and not for their own purposes.

Where is your data being processed?

All data processing systems under our control are located in the Federal Republic of Germany. However, data processed under the control of Facebook can be processed at other locations.

Your rights as data subject.

You have the right to information about how we process your data.

You have the right to have your data corrected or deleted or to have its processing restricted, although there might be prevailing contrary statutory requirements which prevent us from correcting, deleting or restricting data upon your request.

You have the right to retract your agreement to our processing of your data and to have your data transmitted to you. 

In particular, you have the right to object to our use of your data in accordance with art. 21 (1) and (2) GDPR regarding the use of direct marketing, if this use is based on legitimate interests as a legal basis.

You can direct such inquiries or requests through the channels you have also initiated contact with us, or other channels available to you. However, if your inquiry is not transmitted in written form, we might ask you for proof of your identity, to prevent fraud and impermissible transmission of personal data.
