Our symposium this year took place from November 12 to 13 in Heidelberg. Numerous customers and prospects attended on both the conference days at the arthotel, located in the Heidelberg old town.

Working practices at target

target’s working practices are characterized by flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes. Even the boss’ door is (almost) always open. We work in small teams; both consultants and developers have direct contact with the customers. A personal mentor is assigned to each newcomer during the induction phase to answer any questions.

We offer a diverse range of products and services, so being able to work independently is both desirable and necessary. In addition to designing our applications, developers are also charged with the task of installing and implementing those applications at pilot customers. target consultants are responsible for designing customer projects and adapting the solution to suit the customer’s specific requirements. They are also responsible for Go Live support and change management.

Our workstations are equipped with the latest technical equipment. Our developers use the latest software development methods. Our employees are involved in the selection of your computer as well as peripheral devices. PCs and smartphones can also be used privately. Whenever feasible, we allow our employees to work from home.  

Work isn’t everything...

When it comes to a great working environment we don’t just talk the talk; we walk the walk. The many joint activities organized for the target team outside work (joint lunch in the canteen, company outings, barbecues in our own atrium and a Christmas party with the partners) attest to that.
