B. Braun Melsungen AG selects target Idea Management

B. Braun provides the global healthcare market with products for anesthesia, intensive care, cardiology, extracorporeal blood treatment, and surgery, as well as services for clinics, private practice, and homecare.

With its idea management system, the company wants to access the potential of ideas for improvement and foster the creativity of all of its employees. Idea management at B. Braun comprises an employee suggestion scheme and continuous improvement process (CIP).

After analysis and evaluation of efficient solutions for electronic workflow in the idea management process, B. Braun selected target Idea Management in January 2008. Central to this decision was the fact that the software from target software solution GmbH is based on SAP technology and can thus be integrated in the IT strategy from B. Braun.

“Through the target software solution based in SAP software, we can ensure security in the process, streamline processing time, and save administrative costs,” says Erwin Ochs, responsible for idea management at B. Braun Melsungen AG.
