target Exhibits at IOP Symposium at the University of Bern, Switzerland
Every two years, the Institute for Organization and Human Resources (IOP) at the University of Bern in Switzerland presents an award and special recognition for “Excellence in Human Resources Management.” In 2005, under the direction of Professor Dr. Thom, the IOP selected idea management as their topic for excellence, a topic the IOP has continued to conduct research on since its inception.
The chemical and paper consortium Perlen Enterprises won the 2005 IOP award
and target customer Swiss Post received the 2005 IOP recognition prize. The
jury praised the newly developed idea management concept at Swiss Post with its
high degree of institutionalization and exemplary documentation, as well as its
clearly defined role for employees responsible for idea management.
